Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens is a major new attraction near Penzance in Cornwall. A beautiful sheltered valley in west Cornwall, surrounded by woods, streams and dramatic vista provides the perfect setting for this 22-acre exotic and sub-tropical garden. The dramatic gardens provide the backdrop to contemplative and inspiring art. International renowned artists such as James Turrell RA and David Nash RA have interacted with the garden to create site-specific permanent works, all harmonising with their garden setting.

Dramatic landscape and planting provide the backdrop to contemplative but inspirational artworks. The land also provides a forum for ever changing temporary, or even ephemeral arts in all its forms.

The Café serves fabulous freshly prepared homemade meals, snacks & drinks throughout the day using the best locally sourced seasonal produce. Join us for a morning cuppa, delicious lunch or light snack, or how about a traditional afternoon tea in our beautiful surroundings with splendid views of the bay. We are fully licensed and stock a great selection of wines, beers & ciders.

By Car

Follow the A30 westbound towards Penzance. When you reach the outskirts of Penzance take the 3rd exit at the Morrisons roundabout onto Jelbert Well. Pass KFC, Currys, Helfords and B&M on your left. Take the first right onto Posses Lane (signposted Gulval). From the end of Posses Lane follow the signs to Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens. After  just over 1 mile turn left into Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens.

By Public Transport – From Penzance or St Ives

The No. 16 bus between Penzance and St Ives travels past our entrance approximately every other hour. Tremenheere is a request stop – Just ask the driver to let you off at our slip road.

The nearest train station is Penzance, located 2 miles away, the bus station is immediately opposite. Car hire or a taxi are both available from the train station, we’re approximately a 10 minute drive away.
