Belgrave St Ives
- Overview
Belgrave St Ives is now located in converted farm buildings on the edge of Zennor Moor just 2 miles from the centre of St Ives and 3 miles from Eagles Nest, the former home of Patrick Heron.
Art can be viewed informally in this beautiful, peaceful rural setting – a nice contrast to the lively bustle of St Ives town.
Belgrave St Ives specialises in works of art by Contemporary and Modern British Artists primarily with a St Ives/Cornwall connection from the 1930s to the present day. Established in St Ives 1998, the gallery has a reputation for quiet discernment, expertise, and fair dealing.
Selected Modern British: Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, Sven Berlin, Bob Crossley, Terry Frost, Patrick Hayman, Barbara Hepworth, Patrick Heron, Roger Hilton, Ben Nicholson, Brian Rice, William Scott, John Wells, Bryan Wynter and others. Contemporary artists include: Jessica Cooper, John Emanuel, Anthony Frost, Ffiona Lewis, Jason Lilley, Alice Mumford and Graham Rich.
