Join the RSPB warden and explore the shoreline and mudflats around this wonderful estuary looking for wild birds. This is the season when birds return to the estuary in good numbers. Enjoy watching waders include oystercatchers, ringed plover, sanderling, dunlin, black-tailed and bar-tailed godwit, curlew, greenshank and redshank. Look through the roosting gulls for the great black-backed, lesser black-backed, herring, common, Mediterranean and black-headed gulls.
