Matt, originally from Exeter is currently studying jazz piano at The Royal Academy of Music. The The Matt Carter quintet performs my own compositions as well as jazz standards. One of my compositions Time/Change was featured on BBC Radio 3’s program Jazz Record Requests in 2015. In January 2017, I recorded a live album at St Ives Jazz Club featuring the wonderful vocals of Leigh Coleman.
