Many of St Ives’ restaurants and food providers are now embracing the Government’s “Eat Out to Help Out” scheme. The scheme runs during August only for now and allows customers who eat in a restaurant to get a 50% discount on their meal up to a maximum of £10 per diner, and there is no limit to the number of meals you can get with the £10 discount. The incentive only applies on Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays until the 31st August, and the discount only applies to food and soft drinks. Alcohol and service charges do not qualify.
The discount will be applied automatically by the vendor so you don’t need to do anything except enjoy your meal. Please check before ordering if the restaurant you are using has registered with the scheme to avoid disappointment!
Participation by St Ives businesses include:
Porthmear Cafe, Tate St Ives, The Cornish Deli, Chapels Cafe, Western Hotel, The Queens Hotel, The Castle Inn, Peppers Pizzeria, The Firehouse Bar and Grill, Skys Diner, Seafood Cafe, Curry Garden, Alfresco, The Hub, The Balcony, The Harbour Seafood Restaurant, Lifeboat Inn, Talay Thai, Harbour Fish and Chips, The Rum and Crabshack, Porthminster Kitchen, Beach Restaurant, Coasters Tea Shop, Pedn Olva, Caffe Pasta, The Harbour Hotel, Porthgwidden Beach Services, Porthminster Beach Services and Tregenna Castle Hotel.
