Fernhill Penthouse is a beautifully restored conversion of an old sea captain’s house built from granite circa 1760, one of the first to be built in Carbis Bay, St Ives, Cornwall.
The Penthouse occupies the entire top floor of the building and has magnificent views from the balcony of Carbis Bay. Whilst it retains the charm and character of the original house, the interior has a modern contemporary feel, with all the home-from-home comforts you would expect from 5 star accommodation.
Located down a quiet, peaceful wooded lane, a 5 minute walk to the magnificent sandy beach that is Carbis Bay.
There are several fantastic blue flag beaches (one for each day of the week!).
Nearby Porthminster Beach has been voted 3rd best in the UK and 9th in Europe by Tripadvisor Travel Choice award 2013, popular for sunbathers and surfers. Most of the beaches have cafes, restaurants and shops to buy your buckets, spades and ice creams from.
