At Crest-o-Wave the bedrooms are comfortably furnished and are light and bright. Some are fully ensuite, some have fantastic sea views, we also have single rooms, which are very popular. We are literally two minutes from Porthmeor Beach ( or a ‘stones throw away’ ). The Tate Gallery is also nearby, the coastal footpath starts directly opposite the house, and a bowling green and putting green are also opposite. Parking in St Ives can be a problem, but we have ample car parking spaces for our guests, either at the front of the house or in a private car park nearby.
Our guesthouse is in a quiet location and guests appreciate its peace and tranquillity with the knowledge that the bustling centre of St Ives is only a short easy walk away. We are ideally positioned for walkers, and make a great stopover for anyone walking the coast path, the start of which is located directly opposite our property. Our single rooms are popular for solo travellers.
Guests are always welcome to use our lounge which is comfortably furnished, with armchairs which encourage you to relax, to read or watch television. The lounge has magnificent sea and coastal views and we have a telescope which guests are welcome to use. Dolphins and seals are often spotted from our windows and very occasionally basking sharks.
Guests have unlimited access to rooms, and are given their own room and house keys to use during their stay. All rooms have colour television, tea and coffee making facilities and hair dryers. Every new guest has clean freshly laundered bed linen, including fresh duvet covers and soft towels.
We pride ourselves on our friendly and personal service to all our visitors and are always available to give help and assistance. We believe that our guesthouse has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere where visitors who become friends, return to enjoy our hospitality.
