By Road
The M5 and M6 (south bound) lead to the West Country.
From Exeter you can choose from two major holiday routes, the A30 and the A38.
The A30 will lead you across Bodmin Moor, and by taking the A38 route you will enter Cornwall across the Tamar Bridge in Plymouth. The roads are mainly dual carriageways.

By Rail
There is a good service from most major cities.
For st ives you will disembark just before the train goes on to Penzance, at St. Erth Station and from there take the st ives Branch Line which takes you approximately 10 minutes along magnificent coastline to enter St.Ives.
